A PRACTICE GROUNDED IN CREATIVITY AND CONNECTION
At Sheri Long Counseling, I believe meaningful change begins in connection. My work is grounded in creating a safe, supportive space where children, teens, adults, and families feel seen, understood, and valued for who they are.
I offer individualized, creative, and evidence-informed therapy that honors each person’s unique strengths, needs, and experiences. Whether through play-based approaches with children or relational, reflective work with teens and adults, therapy is tailored; not a one-size-fits-all. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and rooted in the understanding that healing happens within relationships.
Drawing from current research in neuroscience and attachment-informed care, my approach focuses on fostering safety, emotional regulation, and deeper self-awareness. By strengthening the therapeutic relationship, clients are supported in building trust, resilience, and a stronger sense of alignment with themselves and with others.
Whether you are seeking support for your child, navigating personal or family challenges, or simply looking for a space to slow down and reconnect, you don’t have to do it alone. Every life transition holds the potential for growth, and together, we work toward clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
