Fees
I operate as a self-pay (private pay) practice and do not accept insurance directly. This allows me to keep sessions focused on your needs rather than on diagnoses or treatment requirements set by insurance providers.
After each session, I can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your specific plan and benefits.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Insurance & Superbills — What to Know
While I do not bill insurance, many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits.
A superbill includes:
Provider information
Diagnosis code (as required by insurance)
Session date and fee
You can submit this directly to your insurance company to request reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurer to ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage is reimbursed?
Is there a deductible I must meet first?
I do not accept insurance directly. I am considered an out-of-network provider and can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.
A superbill is a detailed receipt that you submit to your insurance company. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, your insurer may reimburse you for a portion of the session fee.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available for family work upon request, or with an increased clinical need.
I typically recommend weekly sessions for children and adolescents during the first four weeks of therapy. Depending on your needs, the same may be suggested for adults. Ongoing sessions are usually scheduled weekly or bi-weekly to provide consistent, structured support that fits into everyday life.
Yes. I offer child-centered therapy, individual counseling, and family therapy, and I tailor each session to the developmental and emotional needs of those involved.
When working with children and adolescents I ask that sessions be scheduled weekly for the first 4 weeks and then we will have parent sessions to ensure we are aligned on the goals and observations.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right fit, I’m happy to discuss your needs during a consultation.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee. If I need to cancel within 24 hours, you’ll receive a one-time courtesy late-cancellation waiver. I understand that illness and life happen — please reach out and prioritize the health and well-being of yourself and your family.
I currently offer both in person and virtual sessions. All youth and family sessions are held within the office only. Virtual is only offered to individual counseling sessions for adults. Please reach out for availability and scheduling details.
The relationship matters. I encourage a brief consultation so we can talk through your goals and make sure my approach feels like a good fit for you and your family.
